Do you make custom designs?
Yes! Many of my designs are customized for clients; note that additional fees may apply for highly customized work. I work with your theme, colour scheme, and other personal requests to develop a design perfectly suited for your occasion. However, if you would like to order an existing design from the Gallery, I would be happy to re-create it for you. Booking at least 6 weeks in advance of your event date is highly recommended for custom orders.
How far in advance should I place my order?
At least 4-6 weeks’ lead time is best to avoid disappointment, however there are times when I’m booked several months ahead. If you have a “cookie emergency” and need them sooner, please send me a message and I’ll do my best to take care of you! Remember, your order is not complete until payment is made.
What ingredients are used in your cookies?
I use fresh, premium ingredients including: Flour, butter, sugar, eggs, lemon, vanilla extract, salt, powdered sugar, water, meringue powder (dried egg whites, sugar, cornstarch, gum), gel food colouring.
Do your cookies contain nuts?
Cookies do not contain nuts, but are baked and decorated in a facility that may use nuts.
How long will my cookies stay fresh?
Cookies will stay fresh and delicious for up to 2 weeks if left unopened in their sealed packages. I recommend storing them in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight. No need to refrigerate!
Is there a minimum quantity per order?
There is a minimum order of 2 dozen cookies, or spend of $80. Multiple designs are possible for an additional fee, depending on the order quantity.
Cookies of the month have no minimums, quantities under 3 dozen will be pick up only.
How do I receive my cookies?
Delivery is free within Ladera Ranch. Delivery in the Orange County, Ca area starts at $15. You may also Pick up. (pick up address will be provided once you have ordered)
Can you ship cookies out of state?
Cookies can be shipped starting at $20.
What is the cost of your cookies?
Pricing starts at $2.00 per cookie, but varies depending on design, size and quantity. Please contact me for a custom quote or visit the Custom Cookies page for more details.
What types of payment do you accept?
Cash, Check, PayPal and credit card.
Why do you need at least 4 – 6 weeks’ notice?
I often book up quickly and want to ensure that I can accommodate your order. Also, as many of my orders are custom creations, the entire process requires a long lead time. After receiving your order, I spend a few days researching and developing your design. Often custom cookie cutters need to be ordered and can take a few weeks to arrive. Then, cookies take anywhere from 3 – 7 days to bake and decorate. They are baked fresh upon your order and each layer/colour of icing needs time to dry before the next colour is applied. Shipping and delivery time are also considered, as I want to ensure that your order arrives well in time before your event date!
How are your cookies packaged?
Cookies come individually wrapped in clear cellophane bags. Packaging fees apply for labels, tags, and ribbon.
I really want to order your cookies, but they are out of my budget! Can you offer me a better price?
I can certainly sympathize with the difficult task of staying under budget. Unfortunately, I’m not in a position to negotiate cookie prices because of the cost of ingredients and the labour-intensive nature of the baking, decorating, and design processes. I do, however, appreciate your interest and admiration of my cookies. There might be some ways that I can adjust the design to lower the price.
